Our Privacy Commitment

At ZeroServerTools, privacy is not just a feature—it's our foundation. Unlike traditional web tools that upload your files to remote servers, our tools process everything locally in your browser using WebAssembly and modern JavaScript APIs.

1. What Data We Collect

Files You Process

We collect ZERO file data. All files you upload to our tools are processed entirely in your browser's memory (RAM) and are never transmitted to our servers. When you close the tab or refresh the page, all file data is permanently deleted from memory.

Website Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This includes:

  • Page views and referral sources
  • Browser type and device category (desktop/mobile)
  • Geographic location (country-level only)
  • Pages visited and time spent on site

Important: We do NOT track individual users, create user profiles, or use invasive tracking technologies like fingerprinting.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies for:

  • Essential cookies: Required for basic site functionality
  • Analytics cookies: Anonymous usage statistics (can be opted out)
  • Advertising cookies: Non-personalized ads served through Google AdSense

2. How We Use Data

The limited data we collect is used exclusively for:

  • Improving website performance and user experience
  • Understanding which tools are most popular to prioritize updates
  • Detecting and preventing abuse or technical issues
  • Displaying relevant, non-personalized advertisements

3. Third-Party Services

Google AdSense

We display advertisements through Google AdSense. These ads are non-personalized and do not track your browsing history across the web. AdSense may use cookies to serve relevant ads based on general demographics and page content (not your personal data).

CDN Providers (jsDelivr, etc.)

We load WebAssembly libraries from trusted Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) to improve performance. These CDNs may log IP addresses for security purposes but do not track user behavior.

4. Data Retention

File Data: Zero retention. Files are processed in RAM and destroyed when you close the browser tab.

Analytics Data: Aggregated analytics data is retained for 12 months for historical analysis.

Server Logs: Standard Apache server logs (IP addresses, timestamps, user agents) are retained for 30 days for security monitoring.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request information about any data we may have collected
  • Deletion: Request deletion of any personal data (though we collect virtually none)
  • Opt-Out: Disable analytics cookies through your browser settings
  • Block Ads: Use ad blockers to prevent advertising cookies (though this affects our revenue)

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

7. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all traffic
  • Regular security audits and updates
  • Secure server configurations and firewalls
  • Minimal data collection to reduce risk exposure

8. International Users

Our servers are located in the United States. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR for European users.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

🔒 Privacy Guarantee

Bottom Line: Your files are processed 100% locally in your browser. We never see them, never store them, and have zero technical ability to access them. This is fundamentally different from traditional web tools and is the core of our privacy promise.
